Citrofrut delivers 1,000 metal sheets to Huehuetlán after lightning storm

In the wake of the devastation caused by a severe thunderstorm in the municipality of Huehuetlán, in the state of San Luis Potosí, Citrofrut joined forces with the community and, as a socially responsible company, donated essential material for the reconstruction of homes.

The donation consisted of one thousand sheets to the community of Huehuetlán; supporting 100 families, which will be used to repair their homes that were affected by the meteorological phenomenon in recent days.

Emma Oyarbide, Head of Social Responsibility at the Huichihuayán plant, and José Luis Cadena, Human Development Coordinator of Agrícola en Citrofrut, were accompanied by the government of Huehuetlán to the delivery of 10 sheets per family for the inhabitants of the municipality in San Luis Potosí.

It should be noted that Huehuetlán, municipality of San Luis Potosí, is a neighboring community to the Citrofrut plant in Huichihuayán; therefore, some of the company’s workers live in that town.

This action is in addition to others, such as the delivery of sanitizing gel and awareness-raising workshops, in which Citrofrut cooperates with the neighboring municipalities where its workers are from.
