Citrofrut installs cisterns in Sinaloa

Communities surrounding our facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Last Thursday, October 1, we inaugurated two cisterns in the communities of La Campana and Copales, in the state of Sinaloa. 

The construction and installation of these cisterns will help improve the quality of life of 500 families in the communities of La Campana and Copales; an initiative of Citrofrut with the alliance of the Escuinapa, Sinaloa City Hall, which will supply the 10,000 liter cisterns twice a week, so that the communities can meet their drinking water needs.

These works have provided an incentive to the economy of the ejidos, since they employ personnel from the area and contribute to the prevention of COVID-19, facilitating the necessary hygienic measures.

Dr. Emmet Soto Grave, Municipal President, thanked Citrofrut for its constant support, as well as Francisco Gamboa for being a tireless social manager who has united efforts with the Escuinapa City Council to improve the quality of life of the people of Escuinapa.

Ernesto Marrufo, Director of Social Welfare; Mario Polanco, Director of the Municipal Sports Institute; and Geovanni Saraco Martinez, Manager of the Municipal Water and Sewage Board of Escuinapa, Sinaloa, were also recognized.

While the commissioners Efrén Meza Contreras and José Adolfo Betancourt Lizola, representatives of the villagers, thanked the organization for always being a great manager and being present for the main needs of its workers and their families.
