Tropical Fruits

Tropical fruits are those from tropical or subtropical climate zones.

Tropical fruits have in common, in the vast majority of cases, that they cannot withstand cold temperatures close to or below 0 ° C. And Citrofrut is one of the biggest producers in Mexico.

Tropical Fruit production

According to the FAO, the global production of tropical fruits has grown in the last decade, mainly in response to the growing demand in producing countries. It is estimated that 99% of tropical fruit production originates in developing countries, and is mainly grown by small farmers who are endowed with, or have access to, less than five hectares of land.

Citrofrut produces Mango Tommy, Mango Manila, Mango Palmer and Pink Guava.
